We acquired entire Tap Changer business unit from Autometers Alliance Ltd., Noida , India along with man, machine, meterial, IPR, know how, customer base, its apporvals and vendor support. The products is based on the design from Ganz Transelektro Traction Electrics Ltd, Hungary.

No break of transformer current during changing of the tap voltages
A total of 32 taps provided for smooth changeover of voltages
Air insulated circuit breaker with magnetic blow out coil is echanically coupled with taps of selector for switching in and out of the transition resistor during current transition phase
Four cylinder electro-pneumatic air motor to actuate the tap changer both in up and down directions
Tap Changer oil circuit independent of loco transformer thereby easy serviceability
Manual drive arrangement in case of failure of driving air motor
